Bridgette Hoffman

Meet Bridgette Hoffman—a Miami-born, German-Nicaraguan artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, and physical animation.

Her worlds are saturated with emotion, color, and texture—vivid spaces where the surreal meets the sincere. Rooted in childhood imagination and spiritual inquiry, Hoffman’s work brings to life raw, instinctual characters that feel at once familiar and otherworldly. “It’s like tapping into something divine,” she shares.

Hoffman earned her BFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany (HFBK), and her work has been exhibited internationally, with recent shows at Dale Zine Gallery (Dual Embers, 2024), TRA Gallery (Purple Spell, 2023), and Paul Roosen Contemporary (CHICKEN SCANDAL, 2018). She’s collaborated with V Magazine x Gigi Hadid’s Journal, OMEN, and Soho Beach House, and she leads art workshops for both adults and children, using creativity as a form of connection and healing.

Much of Hoffman’s work is shaped by her ongoing collaboration with children ages 4–6. Their fearless curiosity and unfiltered wisdom deeply influence her process. As Picasso once said, “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” That same spirit of joyful honesty pulses through each of Hoffman’s creations.

This summer, she joins Homework Gallery in Miami as an artist-in-residence, leading up to a solo exhibition opening in September. Her work is also featured in the debut installation at Phoebe O’Neill Interiors’ new storefront, Pendentive Studio—on view and available for purchase.
